• Purpose: This data is collected and processed solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry, coordinating schedules across different international time zones, and handling your request (including conducting phone callbacks or Microsoft Teams video calls).
• Legal Basis: The processing of this data is based on your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR) or for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures regarding freelance services (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR).
• Storage Duration: Your data will be deleted as soon as your request has been fully processed, any scheduled calls have been completed, and there are no legal or contractual obligations to store the communication.
5. Comments Function
When you leave a comment on my blog, the data you enter (such as your name, email address, and the content of your comment) will be stored. Wix also automatically stores your IP address for security purposes to prevent spam or abusive content.
• Purpose: This data is processed to display your comment on the blog and to protect the website from unauthorized or illegal content.
• Legal Basis: The processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR) and my legitimate interest in security (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR).
• Storage Duration: Your comments and the associated data will remain stored until the comment content has been completely deleted or the website is taken down.
6. Newsletter Subscription
If you subscribe to the newsletter offered on my website, I collect your email address.
• Double-Opt-In: Registration for my newsletter uses a "Double-Opt-In" procedure. After signing up, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This ensures that no one else can sign up using your email address.
• Purpose: The collection of this data is solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter and tracking its performance (e.g., open rates, which is technically handled by Wix).
• Legal Basis: The processing of this data is based exclusively on your voluntary consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR).
• Right to Withdraw: You can withdraw your consent to the storage of your data and your email address, as well as its use for sending the newsletter, at any time. This can be done via the "Unsubscribe" link found at the bottom of every newsletter email.
• Storage Duration: Your data will be stored as long as your subscription is active. Upon unsubscribing, your data will be deleted from the active distribution list immediately.
7. Collection of General Data (Log Files and Cookies)
When you access my website, Wix automatically collects data that your browser transmits to my server (Server Log Files). This includes your IP address, date and time of the request, and browser type. This is technically necessary to display the website securely. I also use cookies to improve the user experience. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings or via our cookie banner.
